for Merit Scholarship
Students who have received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an institution within the Florida College System are guaranteed admission with 60 semester hours into the State University System. Depending upon a student's course selection, the 60 hours earned in the AA will be accepted, but not all of the credit may apply towards the desired degree program. NOTE: Some exceptions apply such as limited access programs, teacher certification programs, and programs requiring an audition for acceptance. Admission into a specific program at a given university is not assured and some degree programs require specific lower-division coursework outside of common prerequisites. Students are strongly encouraged to meet with a BC Academic Advisor to create an education plan for transfer into the upper division.
