The college wishes to excel in athletics just as it desires to excel in all activities and functions conducted in its name. However, the winning and losing of an athletic contest is a matter of pride in doing its best, not a necessity.
The college believes that a student’s association with the athletic program is voluntary. When a studentathlete enters and represents the college, there are certain things he or she may expect from the college and certain things the college expects of the student-athlete.
