The CFK Foundation was established to support The College of the Florida Keys' students, programs and services by providing scholarships to CFK students through the support of private donors and public agencies. Criteria for awards differ for each scholarship and may be based on financial need, grade point average, essay submissions, leadership, and character. Please see the lists below for available opportunities.

Applicants must have completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) three weeks prior to application deadline and must upload their most recent high school or college transcript into their application packet.

Admissions Policy
The College of the Florida Keys follows an Open Admissions policy. Test scores and/or GPA are not factors in the admissions decision. A high school diploma or GED certificate is required.
Transfer Policies

The Associate in Arts degree is designed primarily to meet the requirements for a student to transfer to the upper division level of college or university to continue to work toward a bachelor’s degree.

For undergraduate admission to a state university, students must have earned two years of sequential foreign language at the high school level, or complete (with passing grades) at least two semesters at a previous college or university (as required by Florida Statute 240.233).

Course requirements may change each year. You are responsible and encouraged to work closely with your advisor.

The College of the Florida Keys Distance Learning students enjoy the independence of online classes with the personal attention of dedicated teachers and support staff. CFK students are able to earn an A.A. degree completely online using the Canvas course management system.

Admissions/Re-Admissions Instructions
Students returning to CFK after a one-year period of inactivity are required to submit an updated application for admission. Updated applications require residency information and related documentation.
Financial Aid
All required documentation must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office to allow sufficient processing time before fee due dates.
