Students transferring from other institutions should submit all registration and supporting academic documents to the Admission's office. Official transcripts are reviewed; clock hours of attendance, grades, and skills are evaluated for possible awards of credit, placement, or time credit. 

Transfer credit is considered on an individual basis, for each student, and subject to space availability and meeting all admission requirements.

Gadsden Technical College welcomes all students with a high school diploma or GED and no entrance exams or application fees required. With hands-on training and career-focused programs, including free dual enrollment for eligible high school students, we're here to help you build a strong future.

GTC students are responsible for knowing and meeting important academic deadlines, including those for regisration, financial aid, fee payment, add/drop, withdrawal and graduation applications. These deadlines are set by the college. Deadlines can be found on the colleg's website.
