For over 60 years, Manatee Technical College has offered outstanding educational experiences leading to great careers, while providing a skilled workforce for business and industry in Manatee County and the surrounding areas.

MTC has expanded its offerings to include over 50 career programs – the largest selection of programs offered in the State of Florida. Career options include programs in the areas of Health Science, Business Technology, Construction Services, Transportation, Digital Technology, Public Service, Culinary Arts, Manufacturing, and Information Technology. Many programs can be completed in a year or less.

MTC also offers classes to adults seeking to earn their GED, learn English, as well as continuing education programs.

Grants and scholarships do not have to be repaid; however, students must make satisfactory progress in their programs in order to continue to be eligible for awards. We do not offer student loans.

How to Apply:

  1. Apply at ManateeTech.edu/apply-now 
    To complete the process: 
    • Career and Technical Education applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of $30.  
    • Adult Education applicants must pay a non-refundable $70 fee for tuition and testing fee.  
    Fees are payable only by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. No checks or cash will be accepted.  
  2. File a FASFA at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. Our code is 015496. More info here: Click Here.
  • Veterans (VA) benefits accepted.
  • Florida Prepaid and Florida Bright Futures accepted.
  1. Check your email for your MTCdashboard.net login user name and password.
  2. Once you have your user name and password, you can log into your student account at MTCDashboard.net and review what documentation you need to provide to complete your application.
  3. Email the required documentation to Student Services. All documents must be submitted via to mtcstudentservices@manateeschools.net. No paper documents accepted.
