Additional Deadlines Information

Pensacola State is an open-door college; applications are accepted up to the first day of classes. All students who meet the minimum admissions criteria as determined by State Board of Education Regulations and Florida Statutes are admitted.

Financial Aid, grants, and scholarships are awarded on a first eligible/first awarded basis to students registered in classes.  Funding for most grants, college workstudy programs, and scholarships is limited.  Students/families should file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (www.fafsa.ed.gov) as early as possible.  Students must file the FAFSA on an annual basis.  The online form becomes available on October 1st.  Aid is available for degree-seeking students who have successfully graduated from high school, or have earned a GED or have demonstrated ability to benefit.

In 2017 Pensacola State College won the prestigious 2017 Bellwether Award for its Virtual Tutoring program.
Enrollment Procedures
New students (first time in college), transfer students, and non-degree seeking students who wish to take a college class at PSC must complete a college application and pay the application fee ($30).

Pensacola State College is committed to providing every student with a consistent, comprehensive, and user friendly eLearning environment to maximize scheduling flexibility and to reduce travel time. Most eLearning opportunities are college credit courses that are part of a baccalaureate, Associate in Arts, or Associate in Science program of study. These courses cover the same material at the same level of academic rigor as in the traditional classroom environment; however, most students find online learning to be more challenging than classroom learning. Developmental education courses and Vocational Certificate (clock hour) courses are not available through eLearning.
