Additional Information

Financial aid helps students and their families pay for college. This financial assistance helps cover educational expenses and related costs. There are several types of financial aid, including grants and scholarships, work study and loans. Full-time enrollment is 12 credits per semester or 30 credits per year. Many full-time students take 12 credits in fall, 12 credits in spring, and 6 credits in summer.

10 SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  1. Enroll at Santa Fe. Student must have a SF ID number before application is processed.
  2. Alachua and Bradford county resident (unless otherwise stated on scholarship announcements)
  3. High school diploma or GED
  4. High school or post-secondary GPA 2.0 (unless otherwise stated on the scholarship announcements)
  5. Plan to enroll as a full-time student (12 credit hours per term)
  6. A 100 word essay describing career goals and benefits of receiving a scholarship.
  7. Scholarships are non-transferable.
  8. Students can receive only one scholarship award per academic year.
  9. Scholarships are applied to the academic year awarded.
  10. Thank you note must be received before award is posted to the student's college account.

Sports Management via SF Athletics: SF Students majoring in sports management can engage with the athletic department and gain experience in the areas of marketing, promotions, game/event management, social media/video production, and sports information. Volunteer and paid positions available. Contact the Athletic Director.

The Athletic Department boasts a graduation rate of over 80% and is one of the strongest programs in NJCAA Region VIII. Our five teams compete in the Citrus Conference, and four teams have represented Region VIII at the national tournament for men’s baseball, women’s softball, women’s basketball, and women’s volleyball over college history. Students interested in being recruited should visit our website and contact the appropriate coach.

Returning students must complete the FAFSA to begin the process of applying for Financial Aid.
Additional Information
Using FLVC, students can access their own student records and apply to Santa Fe College as a transient student if their home institution is a participating state college or university. In addition, the following services are available through FLVC: Viewing students’ SF transcript Viewing students’ SF degree audit or running a degree audit for another institution Accessing links to student services, library services, and other services provided by FLVC If you are a student and have previously used eSantaFe, the same User ID and password that you used to access eSantaFe is used to access the Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC) Website.
