Additional Information

Any person 16 years of age or older, who is officially withdrawn from the K-12 program, is eligible to enroll in South Dade Technical College. Any individual with special needs applying for admission is referred to Vocational Rehabilitation or other appropriate agencies. These agencies work closely with South Dade Technical College to determine when an individual is ready to be accepted for admission into a Career Technical Education Program. The focus is to guide students based on their interests, aptitudes and abilities to attain their full potential.

The services that are provided are student-centered, and are designed to assist students with their educational and technical development. The focus of the department of student services is to guide students based on their interests, aptitudes and abilities to attain their full potential. In addition, the institution embraces the multicultural diversity of the community and its representations at the institution. The institution ensures that each student benefits from equal access to education.

SDTC creates opportunities for student success and prepare them to make maximum earning potential in their industry of choice. We have world class instructors who bring years of industry experience into the classroom setting, cultivating the minds of the students they service.
