College is one of the most important investments you will make in your life, which make scholarships and financial aid essential. We’re committed to keeping higher education at Southeastern University affordable and accessible. Our dedicated financial aid staff will help you discover how affordable a Christian college education can really be.

Scholarships and grants at SEU are awarded in several categories, including academics, athletics, music, film, ministry and more. The academic scholarships below are available to full-time traditional undergraduate students and are renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters.

You are considered a transfer student if you have earned 12 or more credit hours directly from a college or university after high school graduation. These may be classes that you have taken on campus or online from a regionally accredited institution.

Any credits you have earned via AP, CLEP, or dual enrollment may also transfer to SEU in addition to those you plan to transfer from your prior college.

Transfer Credit Details

• In order to receive your degree from Southeastern University, at least 25 percent of your classes must be earned from SEU.
• SEU will accept courses if the credits were earned through a regionally accredited college or university nationwide including any institution that is part of the State of Florida school system
• Course credit will transfer for grades of C- or higher
• Up to 90 credit hours may transfer in for bachelor’s degree students. (Students earning an associate’s degree via our online or partner site deliveries may transfer up to 45 credit hours.)

Southeastern University offers more than 80 undergraduate degree programs — available on campus, fully online, or through the SEU Network — meaning you can pursue nearly any career you want with a bachelor's degree from SEU. But before you can begin pursuing your calling as an undergraduate student, you first have to apply and be accepted!

The first step in the admission process is to complete your application using SEU's convenient online application. Once you've completed the application, you'll receive a personalized application status link outlining your next steps for acceptance — specific to your program, these may include a biographical essay, a Christian character reference, and transcripts. Your enrollment counselor can answer specific questions regarding your admission status and any incomplete steps.

• February 1 — Priority admission deadline
  

  Complete steps 1 and 2 by this date to claim your spot at SEU, be eligible for more scholarship opportunities, and get early notification of your financial aid awards!

• February 15 — SEU scholarship applications due
  

  Meeting the priority admission date above gives you time to apply for many SEU scholarship options.

• May 1 — National Decision Day
  

  Join your friends in making your college choice by May 1! Complete steps 1 through 4 by May 1 to have access to priority housing and class choices, and secure your spot at SEU.

Our reasonable tuition costs ensure that you won’t break the bank when it comes to funding your degree.

SEU's online degree programs are now offered through SEU's academic colleges rather than a separate division. Extension sites and regional campuses operate as The SEU Network, a community of more than 200 partner sites nationwide — including churches, nonprofits, and other community organizations — where students can earn an SEU degree while gaining hands-on, localized experience. The SEU Network also houses certificate and non-degree-seeking programs offered through these same local partnerships.
