Scholarships
The WTC Financial Aid Office Staff is available to assist students with obtaining grants and scholarships as well as with filling out the required Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms. The costs of Tuition, Books and Supplies depends on the program and WTC has no on-campus housing.
Our Student Services Departiment can assist all students in getting access to grants and scholarships that are available and do not have to be repaid. The Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms are requied and the Financial Aid staff can assist you on filling it out.

Admissions Policy
Students desiring to tansfer programs at WTC must meet with a counselor/career advisor. A transfer of credit will be considered for documented technical training or work experience; however, no credit will be awarded for technical training or work experience that occured more than three years prior to enrollment. Documentation requesting transfer of credit must be provided to the counselor/career advisor prior to the program start date. Students who attended other accredited technical centers may submit copies of their records at the time of application. Records are reviewed by counselors in conjunction with individual instructors to determine if credit can be transferred.
Veterans - Some Progams offered are eligable for VA Benefits. The Bureau of Stat Approving Agency for Veteran Training has approved some the the certificate training programs offered at WTC.

Applied Cybersecurity is hybrid distance learning with over 50% of the time spent in class.

This program offers a sequence of courses that provides coherent and rigorous content aligned with challenging academic standards and relevant technical knowledge and skills needed to prepare for further education and cybersecurity-related careers in the Information Technology career cluster; provides technical skill proficiency, and includes competency-based applied learning that contributes to the academic knowledge, higher-order reasoning and problem-solving skills, work attitudes, general employability skills, technical skills, and occupation-specific skills, and knowledge of all aspects of cybersecurity.

At WTC, we have Career Advisors and/or guidance councelors are available to assist enrolling students in finding their prefered career path, enrolling in the program and obtianing financial aid.
WTC has a TRAILBLAZERS Club, with is for those non-traditional students to have an opportunity to socialize, share stories, participate in guest speaker who are successful in non-traditional careers.
