Description
This course examines the physical, social, cognitive, and psychological characteristics of individuals during early, middle, and late adulthood. The course will cover major milestones of adult life, the aging process, and other topics related to adult development such as work, families, relationships, and retirement.
Estimated textbook costs are approximately $80 per credit and are not included in the tuition and fees payment.

Course Prerequisites
None. Qualify for enrollment in ENC 1101.
Enrollment Procedure
Students must complete an application and be admitted to the College prior to enrollment. Degree seeking students must take the Post-secondary Education Readiness Test and attend an orientation and advising session. Transient students are encouraged to consult with their academic counselor/adviser and complete a transient student form prior to enrollment.
Technical Requirements
All online courses generally require a Florida State College at Jacksonville email account and a computer with Internet access, a current operating system and Internet browser, and office software. Additional technology requirements may be listed in the course syllabus and course communications. The technical Help Desk is available for assistance as needed.
Other Considerations
Orientation and coursework online. Proctored testing may be required. A fee is not charged for virtual proctoring, but may be required at approved off-campus testing sites.
