Description
span>Students learn the fundamentals of digital electronics computer hardware and operating systems in this course. The A+ certification exam was created by the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) and is targeted at entry-level computer service technicians with at least six months of on-the-job experience. The A+ certification is recommended as the foundation knowledge before attempting other courses that lead to Microsoft (MCSE) or Novel certifications.span>

- IRSC requires that at least one examination be held at an Assessment Center. Assessment centers are available at all campuses. Students who cannot access any of the IRSC testing facilities must contact Assessment Services Manager, Steven Daniello at (772) 462-7583 or sdaniell@irsc.edu to make other arrangements.IRSC requires that at least one examination be proctored in all online courses. Please refer to your instructor’s syllabus for the specifics of identification verification. A desktop computer or laptop with a working webcam and microphone is required in all online classes.
